Hey!
Wow, it just got really busy really fast here. My parents have came and went, and that was absolutely wonderful, with a mix of sadness also when they left.  My Spanish classes have started up again, and I really am enjoying the class mates and professor I am with this time. Also a missionary named Rebekah, who has been serving in Venezuela and who also went to KCU, is here for two months seeking God's plan for her life, whether it be here in Spain or elsewhere. It has really been great having her here. We are actually getting ready to start a Tuesday evening English Conversation Class, which we will be teaching every week together for the month of November.
Then as I stated in my recent newsletter God has really given Chris, Nicia, and I  a dream for the future here in Spain. If you haven't read my newsletter I will paste part of it here instead of re-writing it...
Chris writes, "

“Dream with us!  As you walk in the front door, to the left you have a carpeted room filled with English books for all ages.  To the right, you enter a lounge area with small tables, couches with space for about 20 people.  There is nice music in the background and home-brewed coffee at the refreshment center.  On Fridays, you have English Movie Night with discussion groups afterwards, led by our team with a focus on university students.  Saturdays, we’ll host story-times for children in our library in the mornings, while at night we’ll have youth events.  Our teammate Sheri, who loves to paint, will host a painting group that every week or two will meet for a mixture of painting and English!  During the week, we will offer different classes: English, Crafts, and discussion groups on different social issues.  All of these activities are fulfilling our goal of being the hands and feet of Christ within our community. Yet, what is even more exciting is what goes on at the next level.  While everyone will know that we are a Christian organization, up to this point it’s all been serving the community based on their needs--but the real work that we are so desiring will come as relationships develop…It would also serve as a workspace for our team, and when we have a group of believers desiring to meet, they will have a place they can use.”
I add, "This place would be a safe place outside of the traditional church building where people who desire to know about God would be able to learn and grow."

I am so excited about this opportunity, but I kept thinking I don't even know where to begin. Then Chris and I had the opportunity to talk to the lady that works for the cultural department for the town of Ogijares. This is the same lady that also helped us partner with the city for the English camp this past summer. We told her of our future dreams for this center and she was soo excited about it. She said that even if we wanted the city has space we could use to try out some of our ideas like a story time with the kids, a English movie night, and the English conversational classes. This will be wonderful, it be a free place that we can use to see if these type of activities are even of interest to the community, and if so then it will help us gain experience in doing these types of things when we have our own space. God is definitely opening up doors for us and I am just so excited to see all that He has planned!
I please ask all of you who read this to please be in prayer about this and that each of us on the team will listen intently to what God wants us to do, and allow Him to guide and direct our plans!

"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." -Proverbs 16:3
